Flame Credits & Rewards

Flame credits are our thank-you for helping build the league: useful feedback, reporting problems, and adding or checking course data.

They are earned by the value of what you contribute, judged by a person. They are never awarded by chance, by draw, or for your golf scores or standing. They are not a prize, a promotional competition or a lottery, and you never pay anything to take part.

The league admin reviews each submission and awards credits on a published scale: a little for something many members already reported, more for something new and useful, and the most for clear, detailed or high-value help. No single item earns more than 100 credits, and each item only earns once.

Course reviews and Flame Scores never earn credits, so reviews stay honest.

Rewards come in steps, each shown in the app with the credits it needs. At 10 000 credits you can claim a free year of membership. Earlier steps give a discount on your next membership.

When you claim, your credits reset to zero and you get a coupon. Coupons don't expire and are used when you next pay or renew.

• Credits and coupons have no cash value. They can't be sold, transferred, refunded or swapped for money.
• Credits earned during a beta member's free first year count.
• Fake, copied, automated or spammy submissions earn nothing. Gaming the system can lead to credits being removed and the steps in Integrity Reviews & Appeals.
• Credits stay yours if your membership lapses, as long as your account isn't closed.
• We may change the scale or the steps with 30 days' notice. Credits and coupons you already have keep their value.
• If the league ever closes, we'll give at least 30 days' notice so you can claim with the credits you have. Unused credits and coupons then lapse.
